1. Dua For Protection in Arabic
Arabic:
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
Transliteration:
Bismillah illadhi la yadurru ma’a ismihi shay’un fi’l-ard wa la fi’l-sama’ wa huwa al-samee’ ul-‘aleem.
Meaning:
In the name of Allah with Whose name nothing can harm on earth or in heaven, and He is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
Hadith Text:
It was narrated that Abaan ibn ‘Uthmaan (may Allah be pleased with him) said, narrating from ‘Uthmaan ibn ‘Affaan:
Whoever says ‘Bismillah illadhi la yadurru ma’a ismihi shay’un fi’l-ard wa la fi’l-sama’ wa huwa al-samee’ ul-‘aleem three times, will not be stricken with a sudden affliction until morning comes, and whoever says them when morning comes will not be stricken with a sudden affliction until evening comes.

2. Dua
Arabic:
أَعُوذُ بِكلِمَاتِ اللَّه التّامّاتِ مِن شَرّ مَا خَلَقَ
Transliteration:
A’oodhu bi kalimaat Allaah al-taammah min sharri ma khalaq.
Meaning:
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of that which He has created.
Hadith Text:
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said:
O Messenger of Allah, I was stung by a scorpion last night. He said:
“If you had said, when evening came,
‘A’oodhu bi kalimaat Allaah al-taammah min sharri ma khalaq
it would not have harmed you.”

3. Dua: Reciting the Last Two Verses of Soorat al-Baqarah Every Night
Reciting these two āyahs at night is a protection from all harm.
Hadith Text:
Abu Mas’ood al-Badri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated:
“The last two verses of Soorat al-Baqarah, whoever recites them at night, they will be sufficient for him.”

4. Dua: Reciting Soorat al-Ikhlaas, Soorat al-Falaq and Soorat al-Naas
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to recite them when going to sleep and would blow into his hands, wiping over his body.
Hadith Text:
It was narrated from ‘Aa’ishah that every night when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went to bed, he would cup his hands together, blow into them, then recite the three Surahs (Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad, Qul A’oodhu bi Rabb il-Falaq, and Qul A’oodhu bi Rabb il-Naas) before wiping as much of his body as he could reach.

5. Dua for Protection From Evil
Arabic:
أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ، مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَامَّةٍ
Transliteration:
A’oodhu bi kalimaat-Allaah il-taammah min kulli shaytaanin wa haammah wa min kulli ‘aynin laammah.
Meaning:
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from every devil, poisonous reptile, and from every envious evil eye.
Hadith Text:
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to seek protection for al-Hasan and al-Husayn by saying this dua.

6. Dua
Arabic:
سَمَّعَ سَامِعٌ بِحَمْدِ اللَّهِ وَحُسْنِ بَلاَئِهِ عَلَيْنَا رَبَّنَا صَاحِبْنَا وَأَفْضِلْ عَلَيْنَا عَائِذًا بِاللَّهِ مِنَ النَّارِ
Transliteration:
Sami’a saami’un bi hamdi Lillaah wa husni balaa’ihi ‘alayna. Rabbana saahibna wa afdil ‘alayna ‘aa’idhan Billaahi min al-naar.
Meaning:
May a witness bear witness to our praise of Allah for His favours upon us. Our Lord, protect us, show favour upon us, and deliver us from every evil. I seek refuge in Allah from the Fire.

7. Powerful Dua For Protection From Enemies
Arabic:
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَجْعَلُكَ فِي نُحُورِهِمْ وَنَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شُرُورِهِمْ
Transliteration:
Allaahumma inna naj’aluka fi nuhoorihim wa na’oodhu bika min shuroorihim.
Meaning:
O Allah, we ask You to repel them, and we seek refuge in You from their evil.
8. Dua for Protection of House
Reciting Soorat al-Baqarah in your home ensures protection from Shaytaan.
Hadith Text:
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Do not make your houses into graves, for the Shaytaan flees from a house in which Soorat al-Baqarah is recited.”

9. Dua for Protection From Jinn
Arabic:
لا إلهَ إلاَّ اللَّه وحْدهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لهُ، لَهُ المُلْكُ، ولَهُ الحمْدُ، وَهُو عَلَى كُلِّ شَيءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Transliteration:
La ilaha ill-Allah wahdahu la sharika lah, lahu’l-mulk wa lahu’l-hamd wa huwa ‘ala kulli shayin qadir.
Meaning:
There is no god except Allah Alone with no partner; His is the Sovereignty, and He is able to do all things.
Reciting this 100 times offers protection from the Shaytaan and earns many rewards.

10. Due for Protection by Reciting Ayat al-Kursi
Reciting Ayat al-Kursi provides protection from harm and the Shaytaan.
Hadith Text:
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
“Whoever recites Ayat al-Kursi after every obligatory prayer, nothing will prevent them from entering Paradise except death.”
(Narrated by al-Bukhari)
